I can't believe that isabel is 4!!!! After choosing several different cakes, she finally decided to have me make her a castle cake. It turned out better than the last one i made! This was my favorite cake that my mom made for my birthdays. We had a fun day: picnic lunch, playing at the playground, a trip to the waterpark, and we had a few friends over to eat cake with us. She got a giant puzzle that we had so much fun putting together. She also got a lamp for next to her bed so she can stay up and look at books if she is not sleepy at bedtime. She likes to pick roses from our backyard, so we got her a little vase. Joseph had the idea of getting her roller skates (she used a toy bus as one.) We had a little bit of a rough time going around the block....skates are real slippery and pretty tricky, lol. She was very determined and I'm glad the skates came with elbow and knee pads!

Oh yea! Happy Birthday Isabel! Only a couple months till Isabella turns 4 too! Too bad you live so far away, Isabella would LOVE a cake like that.
