So...I heard my three oldest kids up at 4:30am. Usually, we adults get out of bed about 8am on Christmas. I got up and said "oh guys...it's the middle of the night, look: 4:30! You need to go back to bed and read or fall asleep." Now, I can't go back to sleep...but my kids did.

So, our best field trip ever (motorcycle riding with uncle Chase Crosby) has just been topped by an airplane field trip by Uncle Chase! They learned about the parts of an airplane, how it works and then got to go for a ride! It was SO AMAZING.

Ansel teaching Lincoln how to clean the bathroom floor: "It's actually kind of fun Lincoln. You see, pretend this wipe is a car and you just drive it all around the tiles." Lincoln was like, cool, this is fun. LOL. My older kids seem to be way more effective at teaching the younger one to do things and I can see why!

Ansel just asked me if his pen's time out was over. I forgot that I put his pen in a time out when he kept shooting the football topper off at his younger brother (who hated that). He responded much better than if HE was the one who had to be in time out. ha ha ha.

Titus and his cousin Talia were running around and chasing each other and having so much fun. I had to put Titus to bed and Talia followed me and was outside the door saying, what are you doing? I wasn't done playing with him yet!
I've been meaning to mention that my family has given Titus a nick name: Tank. I think it's because he is half my size (which is obvious when I hold him), Jane found him carrying a pretty full jug of milk, he weighs more than her 2.5 year old and he chucked a giant toy duck across the room.

Ansel was just crying and calling me. It seemed urgent so I came down fairly quickly. As I walk down there and over to him I realize there is a GIANT spider he is scared of because I almost step on it. (thanks for the warning boy...) Anyway, it was REALLY hard for me to act like I wasn't scared to death of it. I tried not to look at it as I was killing it. whew! Spiders like that should be in museums or zoos, not in my house.

I love that when Titus (my 14 month old) walks, he just tries to go the speed of light. he goes so fast and doesn't bend his knees a lot. it's really cute, fast, awkward baby running. lol

Lincoln just came upstairs (half asleep) to use the bathroom. He came out all upset because his pants were uncomfortable. yes...he didn't get the underwear up first. That can be a problem.

Yesterday the kids and I realized Titus wasn't upstairs with us. so we start looking in all the mischievous places he could be. we found that he just went downstairs to play with one of his toys. ha!

Titus loves to stand up on something, let go and hold perfectly still while he gives us this "look" that means: I'm doing it. are you guys watching me? it cracks Isabel and i up so much!

We have been counting down for the Olive Garden to open up here in Derby. Well, not Joseph, but the kids and I. We had a lovely dinner on Tuesday and I already can't wait to go back. (It's only 1 min away from my house...you know that's trouble!)
